About Rawology

Sister and brother duo, Jen and Matt, founded Rawology in 2018 in London at Brixton and Herne Hill Markets, serving up sweet treats to the locals. Since then, they have refined their tasty and nutritious treats and are expanding their supply network across the UK. They have three flagship products (at the time of the project was launched): Pina Colada Twist, Chocolate Raspberry Crush and Chocolate Orange Zing.

Project Description

We managed the entire development of the website on behalf of the company, with the only exception being the web design which was developed by the owners of the company.

Project Summary

• One of the firsts projects we inititated, back in January 2022. The project spanned for a total time of 1 month.
• The website was hosted at a webhosting service, which limited us in terms of what technologies we could use for their website. The webhosting was One.com, and thus, we were limited to Vanilla JavaScript together with HTML as the base for the website. No frameworks were used, such as React.
• Furthermore, the backend was also limited due to the hosting providers limitations with Node.js and installtion of softwares on the server.
• The backend was developed using Vanilla PHP.
• All elements of UI/frontend was developed by us, including SMTP support for programmatic email send outs to clients or potential business clients that are interested in Rawaology's products.
